E4F’s Emergency Housing and Rent Fund

Since 2020 Equality for Flatbush (E4F) has provided emergency temporary housing and rental assistance for community members in need. E4F has spent over $90K in 2022 to temporarily house or contribute to the rent of elders and unhoused New Yorkers. We are committed to and are in the process of finding permanent housing for these community members. We are also committed to keeping particularly elders and other people on fixed incomes in their homes and out of the New York City shelter system by any means necessary.

This work has been sustained by our generous donors and community members . Our goal is to raise $6K every month. Please become a E4F Monthly Supporter $5, $10, $20, $100, whatever you can afford is greatly appreciated and urgently needed. Here are fundraisers created by homeowners, tenant associations, small businesses, cultural institutions, etc who are part of the E4F family. Please help sustain our members as they recover from various crises. Please sign their petitions & spread the word about these important fundraising efforts. Thank you for your support !
